OFF Global, a French startup company that announced a few days ago the signing of a licensing agreement with Nokia to distribute computers under its name, officially unveiled, ahead of MWC, the first computer to be launched under the brand, Nokia PureBook Pro which will be launched with 15.6 and -17.3 inches.
This is a computer designed for the low-end / mid-market based on the Core i3-1220P processor from Intel's new announcement, Alder Lake processor with 8 efficient cores and 2 performance cores with a maximum speed of 3.3 and 4.4 GHz respectively, and speed Basic of 1.1 and 1.5 GHz respectively and with a graphics chip containing 64 processing cores at 1.1 GHz.
The IPS screen, in both sizes, offers an FHD resolution of 250 nits, and the computer comes with 8GB of DDR4 memory and M12 PCIe NVMe SSD storage with a capacity of 512GB. The operating system is Windows 11 and can be accessed directly without a password with a fingerprint sensor or via the 2-megapixel camera.
The connectivity set offered by the computer includes WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and there are two USB-C connections and a USB-A connection, all in standard 3.2. There is also a microSD card reader. The thickness of the computer stands at 19 and 19.5 mm depending on the screen size, and the weight is 1.7 and 2.5 kg respectively.
The battery offers a working volume of 63 watts/hour on a computer with a 15.6-inch screen, and in a model with a 17.3-inch screen, it is smaller and offers 57 watts/hour. The company claims 10 hours of work in each case, with a 60% charge within half an hour.
Prices are 699 and 799 euros depending on the screen size, and Off Global claims that by the end of the year it will reach 22 different countries around the world, and it is hard to believe that Israel is on this list.
