China has pledged to achieve a breakthrough in core robotic technologies and related products by 2025, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
By then, the country will aim to become a global center of innovation in robotics, achieving performance and reliability of key robot components that meet international standards, according to guidance jointly issued by government agencies such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
By 2025, the annual operating revenue growth rate of the robotics industry is expected to exceed 20% on average, and the number of robots in the manufacturing industry will double from the current level, the document says.
Looking forward to overall progress in the development of technologies and operating systems for robots, the statement said, China will encourage industrial innovation and expand machine application scenarios to achieve its goals.
