Among the many laptops that Lenovo is showing at the MWC 2022 show is a one really different computer. This is a ThinkPad X13s. This laptop is the company's first, and in fact, the first in general, to be announced with the third generation of Qualcomm's laptop processor, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3, and it runs under Windows 11 Pro.

This new generation Windragon computer is actually a collaborative development between the three companies, Lenovo, Qualcomm, and Microsoft. One manifestation of this, beyond the Qualcomm processor-compatible operating system, is the combination of Microsoft's Pluton processor that is supposed to improve the security of the hardware along with Qualcomm's secure processing unit. Other elements of security are a private fingerprint and shutter reader for the camera as well as a dTPM 2.0 chip.

The laptop comes with a 13.3-inch IPS screen with WUXGA resolution at several brightness levels available and with the option of touch support. Oh, average with up to 32GB of LPDDR4x RAM and with SSD storage of up to 1TB. It has a 5-megapixel webcam, with the option to integrate an infrared sensor to use Windows Hello.

In terms of connectivity, you can choose a model with a 5G modem that supports all available tracks, in a physical or electronic SIM configuration, and there is also support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The battery has a working volume of 49.5 watts/hour and should be enough according to Lenovo for 28 hours of watching the video.

The ThinkPad X13s is expected to be available starting in May 2022, at a starting price of € 1,399.
